The 2014 Ford Fiesta was shown in the U.S. market for the very first time during the L.A. Auto Show, sporting an impressive new engine. The new Fiesta will boast a projected EPA-estimated 40 mpg-plus fuel economy rating with the available 1.0-liter EcoBoost® engine, an exciting new look and special features and technology that will make it fun to drive.
A new MyFord Touch® system with 6.5-inch touch screen that features enhanced voice control will be available, as will be MyKey® that lets owners configure maximum speed and audio volume limits. It also mutes the audio until the seat belts are fastened.
The Ford Transit Wagon was also shown for the first time in the U.S., and customers will able to choose between five- and seven-passenger configurations. Two fuel-efficient four-cylinder engines will be available: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an optional 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine that is estimated to deliver an EPA-estimated 30 mpg-plus on the highway.
