We love cool stuff at Borgman Ford. It’s easy to get excited about the innovations and features, and we love to see what happens with new models. We were excited that the upcoming 2014 Transit Connect was shown off at the Maker Faire in Dearborn last weekend – Ford Social has a video and article all about it!

What do you get when you let loose a group of passionate engineers, builders, crafters and artists to collaborate and build? The Maker Faire, which came to Dearborn last weekend!

For the uninitiated, the Maker Faire is an event created by Make magazine that’s aimed at celebrating the do-it-yourself culture. It’s filled with displays that showcase the imagination and innovation skills of a variety of “makers.”

It’s a celebration of creation, where people build, learn and become inspired. It’s like a hands-on, super-charged arts & crafts expo with workshops and demonstrations that will dazzle the eye and feed the creative side.

The Movers & Makers display was turning some heads at the San Francisco Maker Faire earlier this year. You can see what all of the buzz was about and get another look at the all-new 2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon in the video above.
